Your Protected Network

Set up safe phones for the people you love.

Give each account its own private phone company: outside lines connect to the public world, and endpoints decide which phones, apps, and local nodes ring.

Phone Lines

Manage how this account calls regular phone numbers and receives direct calls.

Phones, apps, tablets, and local extensions are endpoints under VoIP Devices. Phone Lines are paid access to the outside phone network.

Outside Calling

Choose how this account reaches regular phone numbers.

Shared leased access lets phones call out through KBlend/FabricAir. A dedicated public number lets people call directly back into this account.

Video ToolsManage video calling, camera privacy, and helper video access

Video Calling

Keep video calling simple, private, and tied to the phone line.

Video-capable phones and apps appear here after a handset or softphone endpoint is assigned.
No video endpoints assigned yet. Add a FabricAir app endpoint or video desk phone, then the spine will render camera privacy and helper video controls here.
VoIP DevicesManage standalone SIP handsets and peer devices

VoIP Devices

Manage standalone SIP devices that register directly to the private phone network.

This is where a customer names a VoIP handset, sees its extension, and sets or rotates its SIP credentials.

911 needs an explicit emergency carrier route. 911 needs an asserted emergency caller ID. Fixed-device 911 service addresses are stored on SIP and gateway config; carrier-side E911 registration and verification still need a provisioning pass.

Emergency Routing 911 must match the carrier route to a confirmed device location.

Emergency calling should not be inferred from caller ID alone. Fixed gateways and VoIP devices need a confirmed service address before their settings are pushed to the nodes.

Carrier Settings

Carrier rules control number format, caller ID headers, prefixes, and fallback.

No carrier routes assigned yet. Internal extensions can still route locally. Public-number, PSTN, GTI, and failover carrier rules appear here after service activation.

Routing Groups

Hunt groups are routing destinations, so they belong next to carrier and override rules.

Operator Route

Dial 0 and 5000 should follow this same operator path.

Destination: KBlend Inbound Care Hunt
Live route KBlend Inbound Care Hunt Click to adjust
This saves the desired operator route in the spine. The next compiler/promoter pass can turn this into Asterisk contexts for the selected node.

Automatic routes come from assigned numbers, extensions, and gateway ports. Manual overrides belong here so staff can depart from the default path without hiding hand-edited dialplan behavior.

These are exactly the same settings as an individual line. Enabled PBX features come from the spine feature table, so adding a feature there makes it appear in this catalog without a new static page block.
5Nodes & ReliabilityChoose where phones run fastest and where they fail over

FabricAir Nodes

Assign phones to local boxes for speed, and keep both Fabric datacenters ready for reliability.

Recommended setup Put the brain close to the people, keep the spine ready behind it.

Home and work nodes make local calls, extensions, voicemail, and phone recovery feel instant. Fabric runs from two datacenters, so local failures and datacenter failures have separate backups.

GTI is the active carrier path. Twilio records remain visible only where existing numbers or SIP domains still depend on them. Pintel routes are blocked by the compiler and should stay out of the active desired state.
